This theme is a little bit of a minimalist theme. We can go for something more “flashy,” but what’s nice about minimalist themes is that they are easy to navigate and are more accessible to a wider range of people. If the theme is less complicated but more sleek, people are less likely to be intimidated by the layout and are more likely to trust the look of the page.
For the header at the top of the page, we could optionally make the SRSAC logo smaller and have “Statesboro Regional Sexual Assault Center” in plain text somewhere more aligned to the rest of the page.
Here is what some of the text formatting looks like:
This is what bold looks like, this is what italics looks like, this is what underlining looks like.
- We can also make a bulleted list
- and we can indent the bullets
- Or a numbered list
- To make an outline-type of thing
- and we can indent the numbers
This is called a “block quote.” It’s kind of similar to the concept of a block quote in MLA formatting, in a roundabout way:
And just as those whose courage shines the most
in battle are the least inclined to boast,
so those whose hearts are truly pure and lowly
don’t make a flashy show of being holy.- Cleante, Tartuffe by Jean-Baptiste Poquelin Moliere
Finally, here’s how it would look if we put a picture in this post, along with a caption if we chose to include a caption.

I chose cats because everyone loves cats. Also, because these cats are in a sink and that makes the picture adorable.
