Hello, Readers!
My name pseudonym is Deborah Johansen, and this is my place-holding website. If you found this website, chances are, you were directed here by me, personally, for whatever reason (or maybe you’re just a creep). Some years ago, this was an active blog, on which I posted daily. I have now moved on to bigger and better blogs. I choose to keep this site around for a number of reasons…
- My web hosting package currently allows for several free domain names. May as well keep this one around.
- I have a number of other things that are kept up on this site for my job(s)/volunteer services/technical support that I provide for people, and I’d like to keep the links around (consider me a soldier in the war against dead links).
- This serves as a part of my web design “portfolio” of sorts, and I often use this as a demonstration of the WordPress platform and how it works, when people ask me to design a site for them and have questions about what WordPress is and how it works.
- I still keep the blog posts around! You heard it straight from the horse’s mouth, folks – the blog posts are still around. I keep them there for the memories, mostly – this blog represents a part of my life. If you came here through the archives page, you saw years worth of blog archives (though, you couldn’t access them) – that’s years of thoughts, stories, and events that I don’t want to lose. Call me sentimentalist, but I’d like to keep them around for the long haul.
- As I mentioned earlier, I have moved on to bigger and better blogs. Almost every day, I have someone new that gets forwarded from this site – that’s one less reader I’d have if they didn’t try to access this blog/get forwarded to my new blog! I’m here to serve!
You guys are always welcome to contact me with questions regarding anything at all. I’ll even be your Ask Abby – only, Ask Debbie – if you want! Really, I will be!
